Detailed explanation of all input fields This is an explanation of the form
which is used to add your text to one
of our pictures. Most of the input fields
are pretty self-explanatory, but we'll
still look at each one of them
in detail.
Text: This is where you enter
your text. Some of the pictures may
have 2 or more of these fields, making
it possible to have text on different
locations. Please note
that pressing Enter will not start a
new line, use the Space bar instead
to move the text.
Line break: A new line will be
started when the number of characters
is reached that is entered in this field.
The default value matches the width of
the above "Text" field. This
means that changing this value will
result in lines that will be either
longer or shorter than what is visually
displayed in the "Text" box,
so the only way to see the outcome of
the change is to press the "View
changes" button.
Horizontal location: This is the
horizontal position of the first letter
from the text that you've entered.
The higher the number, the further your
text
moves to the right.
Vertical location: This is the
vertical position of the first letter
from the text that you've entered.
The higher the number, the further your
text moves to the bottom.
Font: Select your font.
Size: This is the fontsize measured
in points. This can be any number you
want.
Color: This is the color of the
text, displayed in hexadecimal color
codes. Click on the small palette image next
to it to pick a color. You may
also enter the hexadecimal code manually.
Here
is a site where you can lookup the
code for many colors.
Text shadow: This will add a
dark shadow to the text, often making
it more readible on a busy
background. It can be any number you
want. A value of 0 means there won't
be any shadow. A value of 1 or 2 is
usually sufficient for most text.
Rotate text: This will rotate
the text to any angle you want. Enter
anything from 0 to 360. A value of 0
will not rotate the text, a value of
180 will place the text upside down.
When trying to print a picture, a part of it
is on the next page. You are
most likely using an older version of
Internet Explorer or another browser.
The more recent versions of Internet
Explorer place it on a separate page
if the picture doesn't fit. Either upgrade
your browser or save the picture to
your computer, open it with your image
viewer and print it from there.
I can't see the color picker. Disable your
pop-ups blocker or turn on javascript
in your browser.
This is too difficult! No, it's not :).
It's actually very easy. If you feel
daunted by the many input fields, try
typing the text first and leave all
other values at their default state.
Click the "View changes" button,
see if it needs to be adjusted and go
one step at a time from there. Does
your text need to be bigger? Change
the fontsize. Does it need to be more
to the right? Increase the value for
the horizontal position etc. Remember
that you can always click on the "View
changes" button to view your adjustments.
